Explanation:

This work was created using Red, Blue, and Green colors with oil pastels laired over top. I tried to use only primary or secondary colors for my calligraphic inspired gestural marks, to me color and sound are two parts of the same whole. When I hear a certain sound it inspires me to create a mark in a certain color depending on the sound and tempo.
